Modeled after the Master Gardeners program, candidates receive comprehensive energy efficiency training and then volunteer at a variety of service projects that will provide opportunities for volunteers to hone their skills and develop their expertise so that they can comfortably and confidently serve the community.

** Background check is required for participation. Once accepted into the program, each volunteer will submit a secure online form to initiate a background check. Payment of $9.95 must be made online at the time of submission. Background check is not required for student volunteers.
Over a seven-week period during September/October and early November, candidates will participate in a series of classroom training sessions and one hands-on field-work session.
