The Arlington Community Wildlife Habitat Project will continue its mission to encourage citizens to create habitat landscapes throughout Arlington to benefit people, plants and wildlife
On November 9, 2005, Arlington County, Virginia, reached its goal of becoming a certified community wildlife habitat project. Read more about the ceremony celebrating this accomplishment.

There are many ways you can get involved:
- Certify your yard, apartment balcony, school, workplace, church, or community site through the National Wildlife Federation's Backyard Habitat program.
- Tell the Arlington Community Wildlife Habitat team about your wildlife habitat in progress or certified wildlife habitat site. Send us pictures and we'll post your site on this web site. Let us know if you need help or resources.
- Hook up with other wildlife habitat projects underway in Arlington or help to develop new projects. Contact ACE for a current list of wildlife habitat projects that need your help.
