Project Watershed Watch program is designed to engage citizens in monitoring, restoration, and conservation activities along Four Mile Run. Thank you to the Virginia Environmental Endowment for supporting this program.

There are many ways you can get involved:

  • Attend one of our monthly stream projects. September projects: Stream Cleanup and Invasive Plant Removal Training.
  • Organize a project for your group or class. Projects include stream cleanups, invasive plant removal, and storm drain marking.
  • Get trained as a stream steward and lead community and classroom presentations about Arlington's watersheds. Download the application.
Read the "ACE Hits New Record: 32 Arlington Properties Certified as Wildlife Habitat Sites in 2003" press release.
